Manchester United have made known their strong desire to land Antony Santos as they returned a new offer worth €90m to Ajax.
The Red Devils have made a step higher than their initial offers as they hope to land Antony Santos before the close of the summer window.
Santos being a player developed by Erik ten Hag, wishes to reunite with his former boss after seeing him leave for Manchester United.
The Brazilian today also held a meeting with his agent and the club (Ajax) and both sides maintained their stance with Santos disclosing he wants to leave.
Somtosport can confirm that the Red Devils did actually this afternoon offer an improved amount for Antony Santos.
Ajax in turn maintained their stance as they responded to Manchester United that they aren’t selling the player.
It’s believed that Ajax are holding out for €100m because of the 20% they will have to pay Antony’s former club, Sao Paulo if they happen to make a sell.
The player is already growing frustrated to the issues at the club as they have also levied a fine on him for his moves to force away from the club.
Antony Santos did train alone today at the Ajax training ground.
