Antony Santos is keen on leaving Ajax for Manchester United and has already made known his plans to the club
Ajax keeping Antony Santos is now against his will after the Brazilian disclosed his desire to play in the Premier League.
Santos wants a reunion with his former boss, Erik ten Hag but Ajax’s demand is stalling the transfer move.
Manchester United are already preparing to submit an improved offer for Santos believed to be around €94m.
The Red Devils are increasingly growing confident they can make the deal happen before the summer window shuts in few days time.
Meanwhile back in Netherlands, Ajax have made a difficult decision to keep Antony committed against his will.
According to sources closer to the club, Somtosport understands that they have labelled a €50k fine on Antony for any day he fails to report to the club for duties.
This is done in order to avoid him missing trainings and match days in his quest to force a move out of the club.
Antony Santos now sees a stay at Ajax as hindering his progress as he views himself in Manchester already.
The player and his camp have as well received new update this morning from Manchester United that they will soon be submitting the new bid for his transfer and hopefully Ajax will approve.
