Argentine teenager, Alejandro Garnacho is battling it hot in the recent turn of event over a racist post containing gorilla emojis.

The lad took to his Twitter handle after the game against Copenhagen, where he posted a photo of United goal stopper, Andre Onana celebrating his penalty save with emojis of a gorilla.

The winger took down his post just after 15 minutes, even though there was no citation that captioned racism, the Argentine’s post is likely to attract FA investigation.

Edison Cavani in 2020, had faced three match ban for a similar event, Cavani had replied “Gracias Negrito” to a fan who had congratulated him for his goal.

The photo in question posted by Garnacho was one, of some teammates, including himself flocked around Onana in celebration of the penalty he[Onana] had denied Larsson for United’s win.

Some argue that gorilla in the black race is not an insult, rather signifying “giant”, whatever turn the FA takes on the situation, shall be made known as soon as possible, there’s no action taken over the case at the time.
