Antonio Rudiger Sends Message To Xavi Amid Frustrating Night Against Real Madrid

The German was disappointed after his side fell to a shameful defeat to Real Madrid on Wednesday night

Chelsea failed to produce any meaningful result against Real Madrid on Wednesday night despite being the home side as Karim Benzema headed back to Spain with a hattrick and man of the match award.

With the first ending in a 2-1 score-line, Chelsea saw their hopes to fight back shattered by a clumsy mistake from Edouard Mendy.

The Senegalese made a very poor pass to Rudiger who couldn’t meet up before Karim Benzema fired back into Chelsea goal post.

Earlier on today, Chelsea defender who still remains a target for Barcelona appeared to have sent an indirect message to Xavi.

Speaking to BTS, Rudiger said; “It wasn’t the kind of game we wish for but it has happened and we have to fight back now.

“We made a lot of mistakes which we shouldn’t do but it’s in the past now and we just have to work harder for the next game.

Asked of his future plans amid his stalling contract talks, Rudiger continued; “I don’t have any agreement with any other team yet but if there is any change aside what is in my contract then everyone will know.

“I have an agent and he takes care of all of these things so it’s not my duty to say, I am just focused with my job here in Chelsea.

“Barcelona, Juventus, Real Madrid, Bayern and all that I see the news once in a while and I know what the rumors are saying. Some rumors even one time said Xavi said one nice thing about me and I say thanks for the compliment (laughs).”
