The Brazilian has completed his switch from Ajax to Manchester United after both sides agreed a €100m deal
Manchester United new signing Antony Santos will be bringing lots of excitement to the squad with his superb show of skills.
The former Ajax star is known to be a threat in the right side of the flank and has shown overtime what he can do.
Ahead of his unveiling on Wednesday, Manchester United is although yet to disclose the Attacker’s jersey number.
Antony wore the number 11 shirt number back at Ajax and that shirt number is already occupied by Mason Greenwood who is currently unavailable due to allegations levied on him.
Although the allegations and charges have been dropped after he was proven innocent, Mason is yet to return to the squad and ten Hag has confirmed contacts with him.
It’s suspected that due to his unavailability, the jersey number 11 could be handed to Antony Santos as it’s yet to be learned when he would be back into the squad.
This as well could be unlikely after Erik ten Hag disclosed to be in contact with Mason Greenwood to help speed up his recovery after labelling him a rare talent.
Another jersey number that Antony could want to be pick is the number 39 which he wore back at Sao Paulo but sadly it’s already occupied as well by Scott McTominay.
Manchester United will in the nearest future reveal the player’s shirt number but it’s highly likely he would continue with the number 11 while Mason Greenwood is recovering.
