Barcelona vs Bayern Munich match preview as the Bavarians visit Spotify Nou Camp

Hosting what can be called the most important fixture of their 2022/23 UEFA Champions League campaign so far, Barcelona will be parading a very decisive game that will either decide them  dropping to Europa League or qualify to the knockout round.

Following a 3-3 draw with Inter Milan in their last game, The Culers’ Champions  League (UCL) destiny lies but in their hands. Nothing but two wins in their remaining two group games must qualify  them to the next round. Failure to do so, they will drop to Europa League for the second time in a row.

After their back to back wins with 3:0 and 4:0 triumph in LaLiga against Villareal and Athletic Bilbao respectively, Barcelona can take heart and confidence from those games to go into this important Match, knowing fully well that history is against them when facing Bayern.

With only 4 points and sitting just above last position, there is no denial that Xavi’s men run in the Champions League group-stage has been disappointing. However, odds can be in their favour if they can pull a win against Bayern expecting Inter to drop point against Plzen.

On the the news, Bayern have quite been the opposite of their tonight’s game rival as they are yet to lose a game and sitting  smoothly on the first position, having sealed their knockout qualification already

With a 2-0 success over Hoffenheim in the Bundesliga on Saturday, The Munich giants, will be going into this game with odds In their favour, having lost no game to Barcelona since the semi-finals of the 2014-15 Champions League.

Should they get three point from this game, Bayern would be confirmed as group winners on Wednesday, although first would be secured ahead of this match if Inter fail to overcome Plzen.
