The English man has praised his manager, Thomas Tuchel for aiding his return to form
Ben Chilwell has disclosed how a supportive conversation with Thomas Tuchel helped set him back in form.
Having not started the earlier days of the season for Chelsea, Chilwell also missed out Euro 2020 action as he never played a minute for the Three Lions.
But with the 24-year-old rediscovering his form, he is set to star for his National side on Friday when they take on Albania.
This is also added to his restoration of proper game time under Tuchel also after picking superb form in the past month till date.
With an impressive form so far, the English man is nominated for October Player of the month after netting three fine goals in the month with the first coming against Southampton in Chelsea’s 3-1 win on the 2nd.

7 days later he netted for England in their 5-0 thrash on Andorra and the player has credited this form to his club manager, Thomas Tuchel.
Speaking to reporters, Chilwell said; “Me and (Tuchel) had a very honest conversation where he did say to me: ‘You know, I feel like mentally at the moment in training you’re pushing a bit too much to get in the team. We love you here, we know the qualities you possess just relax a little bit, you’re going to get back in’.
“When you’ve got a manager that talks to you on a personal level, which we’re fortunate enough we have here & at Chelsea, it helps.
“When you’ve got a manager that talks to you and tells you the honest truth about what you need to do to get back on the team, of course it’s going to help you and give you a bit of clarity.'”
