News coming out of North London is that the gunners tabled their first bid for Sheffield United Midfield maestro Sander Berge.
With Mikel Arteta looking to strengthen his side when the summer window opens, it is reported that the Spaniard is keen on landing Berge from Sheffield United.
Somotosports understands that Arsenal have now made a bid of £17.2 million for the Blades Midfielder.
Arsenal are positive and believe they are in pole position to land the Norwegian this summer.
Sheffield United who are now relegated from the premier league are reportedly not happy with Arsenal’s first offer for the Norwegian.

It is reported that the 23-year old has a release clause of a fee in the region on £35 million and Arsenal have fallen short of that.
It remains to be seen if Sheffield United are going to accept or reject the offer.
