Arsenal need to sell to buy and they have been working actively to execute this plan perfectly well.
According to reports, the Gunners are looking to offload a number of players ahead of the Summer window with Mikel Arteta desperate to refine his squad.
However, the financial impact of Covid-19 on Arsenal means the Gunners need to sell inorder to gather funds to make signings and a lot of players have been put up for sale including Midfielder Matteo Guendouzi.
Matteo Guendouzi didn’t get off on the right foot with Mikel Arteta with the Spaniard forced to ship him out on loan during the last summer window.
Unai Emery always regarded the 21-year-old as an important figure for the Gunners in midfield, one for the future, but Matteo has now been shunned.
Since his loan deal, Guendouzi have constantly being in talks with a lot of clubs as he looks to pursue his future elsewhere.
Reports now claim that Marseille have contacted both Arsenal and Guendouzi’s entourage and have now agreed a four year deal with the youngster.
Although a transfer fee haven’t been agreed with Arsenal, Marseille are confident of getting the deal done.
