Edouard Camavinga is yet to pen an extension with the French side as Man United push to convince a deal
Man United are eyeing to complete a second summer deal after announcing to have reached agreement for Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho.
The Red Devils have for a while been on Stade Rennes’ door with an offer to price away one of their best talents.
Eduardo Camavinga is considered one of the best young midfielders in the French league and is also loved by United’s Paul Pogba who has even gone to give him a nickname.

The 18-year-old although still has his contract with Stade Rennes valid until the summer period of the coming year (2022) and the club have appeared to have made their decision concerning his future.

Speaking on the player’s exit reports to Manchester United, Stade Rennes’ Sporting Director; Florian Maurice said, “For the moment, we don’t have an agreement on one side or the other. For the moment, Eduardo is here.
“There are discussions that exist between the clubs, with the player as well. We still haven’t found a solution.
“Either we find a way to extend his contract, or a club is interested in Eduardo and we’ll reflect on the proposal that we’re given.
“We’re not obliged to sell a player who has a year left of his contract. Today, there has been no official proposal on the president’s desk.”
Camavinga on the other hand is fully aware of the state of things at Stade Rennes and has already back in May confirmed he is still focused on the club project despite having not agreed to pen an extension.

“My future? I’ve not yet thought it over with my family. I am first concentrating on Rennes,” Camavinga told TF1.
“Real Madrid and Bayern Munich interest is something nice, I can’t lie. It’s nice that big clubs have interest, but I’m not focused on that”
