Chelsea Legend, Didier Drogba Sends Romelu Lukaku Advice To Graham Potter

Romelu Lukaku is hopeful Chelsea can sanction an extension of his loan stay at Inter Milan despite the switch in Managers

Former Chelsea keyman, Didier Drogba has sent words of advise to Graham Potter’s way amid Romelu Lukaku sudden drop of form.

Lukaku viewed a return to Inter Milan as green but has since his trip back to Milan failed to live up to expectations, netting just 1 goal and missing the chunk of the season so far via injury.

Following a recent rumor, it’s stated that the 29-year-old has no plan of returning to Stamford Bridge and hopes to have his stay at Inter Milan be made permanent.

The Belgian found it difficult to settle into Thomas Tuchel’s play pattern and a change of manager is something that could have convinced him to return but seeing him remain keen on staying in Milan shows it’s more than just the manager effect.

Speaking to BBC, former Chelsea man, Drogba has advised Graham Potter to stick with Aubameyang and forget players who are currently on loan.

“I think the manager has just got to keep his eyes on the what he has available for now, they have a proper striker now, I mean Aubameyang and he is already a proven scorer,” Drogba said.

“The club could face a hard time now but they just have to keep fighting,” the Ivorian added.
