Chelsea have already started talks on landing another head coach following the shocking announcement of Tuchel’s sack
Chelsea fired the German tactician after the side lost 1-0 to Champions League group stage opponents, Dinamo Zagreb.
The announcement which came in as a huge shock landed on Wednesday morning out of the blue as no sign of unrest was seen around the club despite their late poor performance.
It’s now clear that the reason of his sack wasn’t based on the results rather internal issues led to uncertainties on if he is the perfect one to lead the new era.
Chelsea have now started talks with three managers they believe will suit the position and hope to land the new manager before their next match against Fulham.
Potter is current manager of Brighton and Chelsea have already sent words to the club asking for permission to speak with the manager.
Chelsea believe Potter will do a better job at Chelsea considering his performance at Brighton.
Although it’s yet to be learnt if the Manager will be willing to leave his role at the club and join the West Londoners but he is the most likely candidate and the first to be receiving an official offer from Chelsea.
Graham Potter has a £16M clause in his contract with Brighton and this means only his agreement is required as Chelsea would fend off Brighton by paying the £16M.
Zidane is another name Todd Boehly believes will suit perfectly into the vacant space.
Having left Real Madrid months ago, the Frenchman is currently without a job and was reported to be waiting on the France National team ahead of the world cup.
With no announcement from the French side on any offer for him, Zidane could be heading to the Premier League if a deal with Chelsea happens.
The former PSG manager is still linked strongly to a move back to the Premier League after missing out spot on the Manchester United Manager room.
Pochettino was sacked by PSG this summer after he failed to produce any significant result despite the many stars at his disposal including Lionel Messi.
