Mudryk will be at Stamford Bridge on Sunday to watch Chelsea match against Crystal Palace after sealing his move to the West Londoners
Mykhaylo Mudryk narrates that he could have ended up at Arsenal being the side that first closed in on having his signature but with Chelsea’s emergence, he had to make a move.
Clearly just like every player from his side, Mudryk wanted a move to the elite league and having already started discussions with Arsenal, the player never shut his door against other possible suitors.
Chelsea suddenly came in and stole a deal for the Ukrainian who almost ended up at Arsenal with the influence of Zinchenko.
“I was waiting, waiting for Arsenal to decide. Chelsea had shown interest but it wasn’t firm at first. I almost went to Arsenal. My agent said, ‘Chelsea just called me and they want you’. I said, ‘OK, I want to go there!’.”
Chelsea continue on their quest to have one of the deepest squads in the Premier League as they still chasing on signing more players.
The side lock horns with Crystal Palace today as they are looking to escape the bottom half of the Premier League table.
