Eriksen was a regular starter and played a big role in the Manchester squad of last campaign, but things seems to have gone wrong since the start of this season.
The Dane has registered only two starts in the premier league games this season, while coming on from the bench in most other games.
Eriksen was sick at some point in the season, but is fit at the time, and eager to be featured in more games than he gets at the time.
When asked about his feelings towards his role as a substitute this season, the former Ajax man, speaking to a Danish outlet, Ekstrabladet, made a simple reply,
“I don’t have any flaws. The body feels good and of course, I want to play every game.” Eriksen feels Erik ten Hag has some explanations as to why he is used more often from the bench.
Eriksen has always proven his class even while coming on from the bench in most games, United’s last game saw him assist Maguire for the lone goal that gave the Red Devils all three points.
One thing every fan of Manchester United anticipates is to see Eriksen start against Manchester City in the derby, as he [Eriksen] has been on fine form.
