Billy Gilmour was indestructible in Scotland’s last night show against England as both sides share spoils in a goalless draw
The Chelsea young midfielder has with his superb performance against England on Friday night attracted several praises.
With both of his teammates, Jorginho and Christian Pulisic joining the line.
The 20-year-old was named the Man Of The Match (MOTM) as he made his first start for Scotland.
His control and dominance in the center was outstanding, of which Jose Mourinho, Graeme Souness and Frank Lampard couldn’t over look.

Speaking on the youngster’s performance, Jose uttered; “The kid Gilmour in midfield, he made the difference. He was fantastic.”
While Souness added in an interview with ITV; “Billy Gilmour is the best player on the pitch, he’s controlling things. He’s been really impressive.”
Two of the Scottish’s club side teammates were quick to respond to his message to the fans on social media as he thanked for the support after being named man of the match.
It was also in this process that Gilmour’s Brazilian name was revealed as Jorginho tagged him Bebezinho.
“My dawg 🔥,” Pulisic wrote in response while Jorginho added; “Well done bebezinho 🔥❤️.”
Chelsea have been linked to a move for West Ham United midfielder, Declan Rice but fans fear his arrival would only limit Billy Gilmour’s chances.
With the young players superb shows, it’s unlikely Chelsea will continue in the push to reunite with Rice.
