Club Gives Chelsea Deadline To Complete Mega Deal As Player Agrees Transfer Move To Stamford Bridge

Chelsea have been handed an ultimatum should they still desire to land their top target

The Blues have been on the backman’s radar since last two seasons and have been handed a green light this summer to complete the move.

Chelsea will be losing Andreas Christensen, Antonio Rudiger and Marcos Alonso this summer amid links from La Liga.

The West Londoners have no other option than to restrengthen their eleven with incomings including from their loaned players.

One player who remains a priority for the Blues is Sevilla’s Jules Kounde.

Kounde is the first players Todd Boehly has reportedly given go ahead for his arrival as he is viewed as an important player.

Chelsea tried signing him last summer but the deal didn’t fall through despite reaching personal agreements.

Kounde has now told Sevilla he wants to leave and the Spanish team have decided on an ultimatum for any possible suitor which they know to be mostly Chelsea.

Sevilla needs the deal to be done before June 30th 2022, and a price of around €70m is mentioned but it’s expected that Blues will negotiate strongly to press it down.

The 23-year-old joining Chelsea will come as a major boost for Thomas Tuchel who has earlier wished to have more than one Reece James in his squad.

Kounde with his sensational attacking mentality posseses similar qualities as that of Reece James.

Chelsea will need to move ahead once their takeover steps are complete as Barcelona are also lurking around the yard barking to snap the Frenchman from Blues claws.
