
Kurt Zouma pleaded to three count charges against him following an incident that transpired at his home months ago
The West Ham defender in a viral video that spread across the internet was seen slapping and kicking his cat.
An incident that quickly drew the attention of the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) to suing the former Chelsea man, after which his cat was taken away from him.
Kurt Zouma and his brother Yoan are collectively facing a 5-count charge following the incident that happened back in February.
Both men were at the Thames Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, 24th May, 2022 for their hearing and pleaded guilty to the charges.
Also charged with breaching animal welfare Zouma pleaded guilty to causing “unnecessary suffering” to his cat.
The Thames Magistrates’ Court after hearing from both men has finally decided to adjourn their sentencing till June 1st, 2022.
