Blues managed yet another hard fought game as a last minute effort from Antonio Rudiger helped turn the tables
Chelsea almost slumped to a draw on Saturday until Rudiger was taken down in the 18-yard box at the dieing minutes.
Jorginho didn’t fail to bag his brace as he sent Meslier the other way while ran in an opposite direction to celebrate his penalty goal against the young keeper.
Indeed the injury wave currently in the Chelsea squad can be felt even from afar as Ben Chilwell, Mateo Kovacic, Trevor Chalobah and N’Golo Kante still sat out while Blues battled.
Alonso taking on Chilwell’s place, the Spaniard managed to provide an assist but Tuchel saw it necessary he played Hudson in that role as he opted to bringing in Romelu Lukaku.
But Hudson-Odoi on the role, appeared to have made certain mistakes which Tuchel didn’t wait until after celebration to go correct.
Blues sure have several names on their want list of which Marina Granovskaia appears to have already agreed with.
One of these names have remained, Sevilla’s Joules Kounde who almost joined Blues last summer.
Chelsea will hopefully present another deal for the Frenchman this January with hopes of convincing Sevilla to a deal.
Just at the sound of the final whistle, Tuchel was seen heading towards the youngster while the rest of the squad where celebrating getting back to winning ways.
Then the manager was seen with his gestures, explaining to the 21-year-old what he should have done right.
This has ove the recent past become the Manager’s method over the past few games as he now prefers explaining to the players right in the pitch after the game.
Hudson-Odoi on the other hand, didn’t fail to understand and he listened before shaking hands with the German tactician and made his way to the dressing room.
