The Belgian since his trip to Real Madrid has been struggling with injuries but is keen to return to full action come next season
Eden Hazard has only made 48 league appearances for Real Madrid since joining from Chelsea back in 2019 following series of injuries.
The 31-year-old is now looking to return to his normal self with his contract now left with 2-years before expiring.
Although Real Madrid have him included on their transfer list incase of any reasonable offers but the Belgian is keen on proving himself before anything.
Chelsea have also been poised to move for a reunion with their former talisman but things aren’t that easy to pull through.
Eden Hazard is one of the heavy earners at Los Blancos and getting him off the wage bill could be big relief for Perez following the fact that he hasn’t participated much in their success since arriving.
The 2022/2023 season will be a season for Hazard to decide his future with his contributions to the squad and that will be instrumental to his contract renewal with Madrid if things go right.
Ahead of the new season, Hazard who has already returned to training has appeared to send warning notes to La Liga defenders in a recent interview.
“Yes, I want to prove myself here before anything else,” Hazard said.
“Next season will be very very decisive for me because the club has supported me alot during these trying days and it’s now my turn to return the favor.
“I can only say the defenders in the league should be careful cause am so determined to play at a very high level next season.
“The team now have new focus and goals and I want to help achieve these goals. We have new players who are happy to come in, including Rudiger who I have already spoken with.
“We want to make the history to keep going on and on and we are very determined.”
