Manchester United are keen on landing another left back with Alex Telles available for exit but it’s also been questioned of what place Luke Shaw has?
Erik ten Hag has cleared the air on Luke Shaw’s fate after Manchester United closed in on landing Feyenoord left back for €15m plus add-ons.
The Red Devils are determined for a major reinforcement and that also means uncertainties for the existing members of the squad.
Following their agreement to sign Feyenoord Left Back, Tyrell Malacia; there’s now a big question as to what future holds for Luke Shaw.
Shaw has been the number one man for this position although, Telles who is ready for an exit was used in many occasions last season as well.
Should Tyrell Malacia arrive, it’s unknown what fate holds for Shaw who still will remain in the squad if Telles happens to leave.
Speaking in a recent interview, ten Hag, stressed in the importance of members working hard to maintain their position; “We have a summer we want to make very busy one,” ten Hag said.
“Of course we have targets that we have eyes on and have already made contacts with their clubs but yet to sign any.
“We want to go for the best options available and that’s why it seems like it’s taking so much time.
“We want to build a team that is highly competitive within, a team where the existing members will have to work extra hard in order to maintain their position.
“These new players we may sign are not coming to sit on the bench, they are coming to play just like the ones already here and playing will only be on fitness and dedication.
“We have a very equal opportunity open for everyone and they just have to work their way into the system we are building.”
