Erik ten Hag Makes Wan-Bissaka Decision As Frimpong Tipped To Solve Man United Fullback Problem

Erik ten Hag confirmed the need to land two new fullbacks with Aaron Wan-Bissaka decision finally made

It could finally be the end of Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s Manchester United career as Ten Hag hints on the need for the club to get two new fullbacks.

After their 1:0 hard fought victory at Old Trafford against Westham United on Sunday, Manchester United boss in his post-match comments hipped huge praise on right back Diogo Dalot who was quite impressive.

The development of the right-back Diogo Dalot has got fans talking following the game with the the manager now suggesting the player needs rest and backup.

Despite the presence of Aaron Wan-Bissaka in the team, the Dutch manager suggested the team explores the market for two new good fullbacks.

Clearly this isn’t sustainable for the only other option at the club in Wan-Bissaka, who has missed almost the whole season on bench and with back pain.

Man United will explore the market for new Right-back, thus forcing out the 24-year-old Englishman who joined the club three years ago from Crystal Palace for record breaking £50m.

“We need 2 good fullbacks [on the left and right] because we have a lot of games to come,” the former Ajax manager told Sky Sports after Manchester United vs Westham United game.

As confirmed by Fabrizio Romano in his twitter post, Bayer Leverkusen and Dutch player, Jeremie Frimpong is among the players scouted for the Fullback position by Manchester United.

The 21-year-old has already scored 5 goals across 12 games for Bayer Leverkusen this season, making him one of the most important players in Xabi Alonso’s squad.

Frimpong since leaving the Scottish Championship for a Leverkusen spell has racked up 63 appearances for the the Bundesliga side.

Erik ten Hag views the Manchester City Academy Graduate as a proper backup to Diogo Dalot considering his agility and stamina against opponents.

The Red Devils are considering their options in order to present Frimpong with a hard-to-refuse offer ahead of the transfer window open.
