Fernandes Gives Man United Transfer Advice: I Want To Play With Him At Man United

Bruno Fernandes has revealed he would like to play with former teammate, piotr zielinski once again as he views him as a top player.

The pair were teammates at Udinese between 2013 and 2016 as youngsters but barely shared the field with one another with the Polish international on the fringes of the Serie A side as he spent the final two years on loan at Empoli.

Both players would depart the club during the same summer of 2016 as Fernandes moved to Sampdoria, while Zielinski joined Napoli who he continues to star for today.

Despite their lack of playing time together, Fernandes speaks highly of the 27-year-old’s game and insists he would love to link up with him again if the opportunity presents itself.

With the Portuguese no.10 thriving at Old Trafford since his move from Sporting Lisbon almost 18 months ago, it’s certainly a nudge to Ole Gunnar Solksjaer if he is looking to keep his star man happy.

He told Canal Sport Plus: “Technically, I can say that Zieliński is better trained than I am. We had a good challenge.

“I think in the past, Zieliński was actually a bit shy. He was really young then, just like me, at that time.

“However, we came from different countries, different mentality, and it was different for both of us. I have a really good relationship with Piotr.

“He’s a top guy, I like him a lot. He is one of the people I met in Italy with whom I am in touch all the time.

“I spoke to him a few months ago and told him that I would like to play with him again.

“So, who knows what the future has waiting for us. For me, he is a really, really top player.”
