A popular British journalist, Alan Nixon has reported that Graham Potter is a candidate to take over the Manchester United job, should potential owner Ratcliffe sack ETH

Ratcliffe has being a big fan of the former Chelsea head coach, and is most likely to employ Potter’s services when he finally takes over Manchester.

It has been a tough war between potential buyers of one of Europe’s biggest club since the beginning of the year, between an American Billionaire and an oil mogul from Saudi Arabia.

Things seems to have gone sore on the side of Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al-Thani from Saudi Arabia, now out of the picture, Jim Ratcliffe is most likely to land the huge prize.

Ratcliffe had earlier intended to go for the sole ownership of the club which is valued about £4.8b, but the club is willing to only lease out 25% worth of shares.

Erik Ten Hag since arriving from Ajax has performed below expectations, but still has the backing of the Glazers who still believe in him to be the right man for the job.

Manchester United has lost the first 2 opening games in the champions league campaign, losing to Bayern and Galatasaray, the board and fans at large hope things take a turn as United entertains Copenhagen on Tuesday.
