Former Liverpool Striker, Peter Crouch Drops Wowing Speeches On Striker, Darwin Nunez Amid Premier League Comeback Preparations

Peter Crouch spoke with the press during the match buildup in the Dubai Cup game against AC Milan and made some exciting remarks on Darwin Nunez.

Peter Crouch on Darwin Nunez:
“Listen, I like Nunez as a forward. I watched an awful lot of him in Portugal covering the Champions League games and he was always a threat.”

Crouch: “So I thought he would be a good signing at the time. He looks a little bit like he’s still finding his feet. I know the goals have been coming, but I think it will be a long-term plan with him.”

Crouch: “If he can get to double figures this season, which it looks like he will do, it would be considered a good return and I think he will only get better and better in time.”.

The Liverpool game versus AC Milan ended with the reds winning 4 -1 where Nunez scored twice after coming off the bench to seal the win.

The reds hopes that Darwin Nunez gets to live up to his expectations having done exceptionally well at Portugal with Benfica. Although he’s been heavily criticized since his arrival at Anfield, the striker hopes to do his best.
