After a difficult start to the season Mason greenwood seems to have found his groove as he’s getting into his eye catching form of last season that saw him get a national team call up. Having Scored 5 goals in his last 6 priemier league appearances he has been nominated for the PFA player of the month. In an interview with sky Greenwood opens up on life at United.
The forward believes he’s got a few years to reach his full level as he’s only 19. In his words,”my hold up play has improved I don’t think I give the ball away as much as I used to do when I was younger and just coming into the team. I know the game a bit more and the pace of priemier league a bit more. It has all come together”.
And on the pressure of playing for United he said “if you play for United, or of the biggest club in the world, you have to over come that. I have pushed that to one side just to concentrate on my football. The manager has focused on me and he has helped me alot , he speaks to all the lads alot, Individually and as a group. I’m really pleased to have him here”.
When quized on how he feels to be in the Europa league final he thinks,”to win something with United would be amazing I want to do that. We are in a good position to do it. A good finish to the priemier league season and a win in the final would be nice”.
The Euros is around the corner and Greenwood is in fine form and when asked if he’s thinking about he said,”it’d be nice to go to the Euros but I just want to be fully focused on man utd for these two games and the Europa league finals, what happens, happens. I’ve not really been thinking about it too much.
