Ilkay Gundogan has finally decided his future amid interest from Turkey with Barcelona fighting to regain financial balance.
The 33-year-old has been a big influence since arriving Camp Nou, managing to net 1 goal in 13 league games for Barca while playing influential roles in the midfield for the Catalans.
It’s obvious that Gundogan is already loving life at Barca and reports already suggests that the former City man doesn’t regret his move to Barca. It’s widely believed that Gundogan is happy with the project at the club.
However, the latest reports from several sources including Football Espana has suggested that Gundogan is hungry to wear Galatasaray shirt before retiring and could be wanting that to happen this summer.

Following latest interview from Gundogan’s agent; Ilhan Gundogan has debunked the rumor as he cleared the air that his client will remain at Barcelona and has no plans of joining Galatasaray.
“The reports in the press these days about Ilkay do not reflect the truth. I did not meet anyone from Galatasaray before the Bayern Munich game to talk about Ilkay,” Ilhan said.
“There was no development, meeting, or anything that came to us in this regard. I want to make this clear. Neither I nor Ilkay can understand how this news came about.
“Ilkay is very happy at Barcelona and is focused on what he wants to achieve there and on his goals.”
