Erik ten Hag has vetted his frustrations after seeing his side loss their opening tie against Brighton.
The Red Devils under their new manager expected to be the dominating side as they take on Crystal Palace but to their surprise they were taken unawares by Brighton.
With former Manchester United Man, Danny Welbeck producing top notch assist to help the opening goal with Gross banging brace in the game.
Bringing on Ronaldo in the second half, United managed to grab one goal back, but sadly other two huge attempts presented to Marcus Rashford, he couldn’t convert.
Speaking after the game, Erik ten Hag in disappoinment sent clear warning to Marcus Rashford who could lose his spot in the squad if he doesn’t sit up.
“The misses weren’t good for us, we could have won 3-2, we could have turned the table,” ten Hag said.
“Rashy didn’t do well and it’s something to worry about because we all returned with high spirits but sad he couldn’t maintain the tempo.
“The goals he failed to score isn’t the end of the road but it’s something he needs to put into consideration because looking at what we are building, the squad will be very very competitive.
“Anyone can lose their spot and not just him but performances like this isn’t encouraging and needs to be taken care of as soon as possible.”
