The Dutch man has expressed shock towards Man United man who has spent last few months out on loan despite possessing great skills
Erik ten Hag led Manchester United to another friendly match victory as they stumped Crystal Palace in a 3-1 victory.
This comes after victories against Melbourne Victory and Liverpool as the side continues preparation to kick start the new season in super form.
It’s expected that the team will be with a new philosophy when the season resumes following the arrival of their new manager.
The club is ready to go heavy into the transfer market but it appears ten Hag has asked to first evaluate what he has available before going into the transfer market.
This is clearly what led to the signings of the two stars who are already joining the squad, but the Red Devils are yet to be done with the market.
Following their friendly games, Erik ten Hag has singled out Manchester United attacker, Anthony Martial for major praise, stating that he is surprised that such talent didn’t get enough game time under the past managers.
Martial netted a fine goal against Palace and also assisted another, a contribution that Erik ten Hag can’t turn blind eyes to.
Speaking of Martial, ten Hag said; “Tony is a very active and talented player. I like what I see of him. He is very dedicated.
“I took my time to evaluate him and I like what I see, he is very talented and that makes me even shocked that he didn’t get enough game time under the past bosses.
“He has been involved in many of the goals we have scored in the friendlies and that tells alot about what we can do with him.
“We will remain focused and keep working to maintain a win streak into the new season.”
