The Nigerian could have been named Man of the Match if only they managed to hold Manchester United to a draw as McTominay late stunner separated ruined the day
Omonia Nicosia Goalkeeper, Francis Odinaka Uzoho has confessed his love for Manchester United and revealed he prayed for an opportunity like the Thursday night.
Uzoho made jaw-dropping saves that kept Manchester United at bay until Scott McTominay managed to put the ball behind him in the last minutes.
The Red Devils literally tried everything they could but the compactness in the opponents defense made it very difficult to break into, coupled with a sensational goalstopper at the back-line.
With Dean Henderson away, Uzoho may have just sent a chilling transfer message to Manchester United board as he disclosed being a big fan of the English side.Embed from Getty Images
“I am not disappointed though because we had a great game but I would have preferred to get at least a point but I’m happy,” the 23-year-old said to BTSport.
“It’s not an easy stadium to play in with these big players so I’m happy in general.
“Yes [I’m a big United fan]. It’s a dream come true for me. I have dreamed to play here for a long, long time so, when I saw the draw and I figured I would be playing at Old Trafford, I wanted to play.
“I prayed to God to get an opportunity to play, and I got it, so I am happy to play here.”
