Its A Big Opportunity For Me – Marc Cucurella Speaks After Completing Transfer Move To Chelsea

Former Brighton Ace, Marc Cucurella completed his move to the West London side, Chelsea few minutes ago

The Spaniard penned a 6-year contract with Chelsea after the Blues reached agreement for a deal that could go as high as £70m with Brighton.

Chelsea youngster, Levi Colwill went the opposite direction as a makeweight for the deal but Chelsea were brilliant enough to have him leave only on loan move after so much stubbornness.

Marc Cucurella has been registered already and could be available for the Everton opening game for Chelsea this weekend.

Speaking after signing his contract with Chelsea, the left-back said; “I’m really happy. It’s a big opportunity for me to join one of the best clubs in the world and I’m going to work hard to be happy here and help the team.”

Speaking on the new signing, Chelsea new owner, Todd Boehly said; “Marc is an elite defender of proven Premier League quality and he further strengthens our squad going into the new season.

“We continue to work on and off the pitch, and we’re delighted Marc will be a part of the present and future at Chelsea.”
