Borussia Dortmund Star, Jadon Sancho has stated that he is happy for Bukayo Saka despite the young Arsenal attacker taking his place for England against Czech Republic.
Gareth Southgate have suffered selection headache due to the abundance of talent in England Euro 2020 squad and has been forced to keep a number of players on the bench for much of the matches.
The Three Lions secured their place in the next round of the competition even before playing their final group game due to the results of other countries in the group.
England Fans expected Southgate to make some changes to his squad selection against the Czechs and they expected Sancho to start but he was benched for Saka.
This sparked a lot of reactions from supporters but the Arsenal attacker silenced the doubters with a fine performance that earned him the Man of the Match award.
The 19-year-old performance attracted a lot of praises from doubting fans, pundits and also fellow players including Sancho.
The Manchester United target took to his Instagram story to share a post of Bukayo Saka holding his MOTM award and wrote under it: ‘Too happy for this guy, took his opportunity like I told him to!’
Adding a clapping and love heart emojis with his words he said: ‘Family.’
