Having fought through a career threatening depression, Lingard managed to secure a move to London Stadium.
His loan move has so far turned out good for him both psychologically and career wise.
With 9 goals in 11 appearances, West Ham United have repeatedly tried making his stay permanent but the Red Devils believe he still has a future at the club.

But according to Eurosport recently, the striker is more focused on proper game time than the side he gets to play for.
It’s stated that it’s more likely Lingard will remain at West Ham than returning to Man United after he showed gratitude to David Moyes for believing so much in him.
Lingard prefers to play for where he gets game time than under Ole Solskjaer who has in the past shown less interest in him.
West Ham are clearly the most favorable side on this but the Hammers would be up to contend top sides like Arsenal, Inter Milan and Paris Saint German who are declaring strong interest to sign the star man.
