Cristiano Ronaldo is pushing for an exit after been disclosed to be more interested in a Champions League action come next season
Manchester United failing to finish top 4 in the 2021/2022 season would be costing them more than they thought as they set to lose 5-time Balon d’Or winner, Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Portuguese is known to be a lover and major participant of the UEFA Champions League and his desire to keep playing in the competition has inspired his exit push from Manchester United.
Ronaldo made an epic come back to the club after Manchester United stole in halfway to snatch the former Juventus man from the claws of Pep Guardiola.
Indeed Ronaldo has played a key part in helping United in every way he can, including producing saving goals in their last UCL campaign but it appears the squad is just below his standard.
Ronaldo is one player that no one should expect pressing from, mainly because of his age.
The 37-year-old is keen on leaving United and following discussions held by his agent, Jorge Mendes and new Chelsea owner, Todd Boehly, it appears the Portuguese may be heading to Stamford Bridge.
Speaking to the media, Mendes said of Ronaldo’s future; “We are working on what’s best for my client and we hope to make the best decision.
“He is top class and desire top class football and that is what he ha always gone for. The new season is very important because of his age and we will make the right decision.
“We are not in agreement with any club aside Manchester United and if there is a new development, you will learn of it too.”
Cristiano Ronaldo is yet to return to Manchester United training ground to rejoin his teammates for the training.
