Chelsea are eyeing up move to land Takehiro with the 22-year-old also chased by Tottenham
The Defender has so far drawn interests from two London sides after an impressive season with Bologna.
Although Tottenham are yet to employ another manager but their scouting team aren’t asleep as the department set for transfer battle with local rivals.
Reports of Chelsea‘s interest came out shocking as Tottenham had always been the side pushing to convince Takehiro Tomiyasu to make the switch to England.

The Blues recently sent Fikayo Tomori on a permanent move away from Stamford Bridge and have deemed Takehiro as a good addition to Thomas Tuchel’s squad.

Takehiro fields mostly as a center back or right back and with Thomas Tuchel‘s 3-5-2 formation, he could fit in well should Chelsea complete his move.
He followed Nakata‘s footsteps to become the second Japanese to sign for Italian side, Bologna back in 2019 on a €9m deal.
With Takehiro’s contract still running until 2024 any team that wants to have him would be set to cash in around €30m before Bologna could let go.

Ever since joining from Sint Truiden, the defender has made 63 appearances for Bologna and scores 3 goals.
