The Left-Back is interested in a move back to the La Liga where he wants to play before ending his career.

Marcos Alonso fell out of place with the Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel weeks ago although this seems to have been resolved and isn’t the main reason he is leaving as the Spaniard already told the club of his departure decision before the incident occured.

The 31-year-old still has a year left on his contract, with the expiration date being 30th June, 2023.

A move to Barcelona looks very much likely at the moment and Chelsea won’t stand on his way.

The club is yet to disclose any transfer fee demand but Somtosport understands that the English side will want nothing less than €20m to let Alonso leave.

Barca manager, Xavi Hernandez has made Alonso one of his transfer priorities and the club are ready to back him on the move.

Former Chelsea attacker, Eden Hazard has earned the Blues a nice sum of money to add to their budget this summer.

Hazard’s current side, Real Madrid beat Liverpool on Saturday to be crowned European Champions after a 1-0 easy show for the Spaniards.

Despite seeing most of the Champions League actions from the sidelines, playing only 83 minutes in the Champions League competition for Real Madrid this season, Eden Hazard has earned the Blues their money.

The Belgian has struggled in the past to impress following several injuries since making his move back in 2019.

The 31-year-old has only made a total of 44 La Liga appearances for Real Madrid since joining but believes next season is his season.

The Frenchman has snubbed a move to PSG and a stay at Barcelona to push for Thomas Tuchel reunion.

With lots of slanders gone his way these past months, Ousmane Dembele returned to fitness and stunned the football universe with superb displays, becoming one of the teams most important stars under Xavi.

The ones that begged for his departure are now begging for his contract renewal but it appears the former Dortmund man has his mind made-up already.

Somtosport understands that a move to the Premier League is more likely for Dembele now who fancies a reunion with his former manager, Thomas Tuchel.

The 25-year-old contract expires 30th of June, 2022 and as such would leave the club as a free transfer, meaning Chelsea would pay no transfer fee to Barcelona if they seal his move.

Conor Gallagher is set to meet with Thomas Tuchel to discuss his place in the squad ahead next season.

The 22-year-old spent last few months with Crystal Palace on loan and has returned to Chelsea for the pre-season.

Palace tried and are still trying to secure him on a permanent contract following his impressive performance for the South Londoners.

Thomas Tuchel views Gallagher as a prospect and won’t entertain any ideas of letting him leave on a permanent term.

It’s clear that Gallagher will be part of the pre-season campaign but Somtosport understands that a loan back to Palace can’t be written off despite transfer interests for Chelsea midfielders.

Tuchel could opt to send Gallagher back to Palace on another season long loan while he works with the current midfielders in expectation of one or more leaving by the end of the 2022/2023 season, or even mid-season.

This all depends on what the outcome of their discussion will be.
