Sevilla have recognized that Chelsea‘s interest in Koundé has cooled as Thomas Tuchel has his eyes set on Matthijs de Ligt.
The Spanish club wants £56m for Koundé and have given Chelsea till July 5 to complete the deal.
Sevilla source: “The delay is affecting our ability to plan for the new season and that is the key reason for setting a date.”
Even though Barcelona wants to sign Jules Kounde, Sevilla have not received an official offer as of today. They do not want the money to be paid in installments.
Jules Koundé has reportedly informed Barca that he will wait for them. Barça seem confident they will sign the defender.
Chelsea Open Talks With Juventus Over Transfer Of Matthijs de Ligt
Chelsea have opened talks with Juventus over a move for Matthijs de Ligt. The player has already communicated his desire about moving to Stamford Bridge this summer.
