Ex Manchester United striker, Louis Saha, has given this thought on poor performance exhibited by Marcus Rashford since the start of this season.

Last campaign was a thrilling one for Man United winger, who was on fine form and arguably the best season since the start of his career, scoring 30 times for the reds in all competitions, the first by a United player since van Persie in 2013.

Rashford has played in 12 games for Manchester United’s since this campaign, but has managed to find the back of the net once.

Louis Saha, an ex Red Devil has mentioned that the team’s low tempo is behind Rashford’ poor performance.

Saha mentioned that Rashford is in fine form, with tremendous quality as a player, the too many touches of the ball the the players limits Rashfords ability, said Saha.

Defender are given ample time to close him [Rashford] down, forcing him to play the ball backwards.

Saha is of the opinion that Ten hag increases the tempo of the game, as this would make the ball get wide ahead of defenders, and Rashford’ contribution to the team would definitely improve.
