The English Left Back found the back of the net on Monday night as England came from behind to split points with Germany at Wembly
Luke Shaw who has seen his form dropped badly since the start of the new season is keen on fighting back into the Manchester United squad as he impressed against Germany.
The signing of Tyrell Malacia sealed Luke Shaw’s snub as ten Hag picked the former Ajax star ahead of Shaw who was left to find form from the sidelines.
Erik ten Hag is known to be a disciplined man who would never switch from a working method to trying out an unsure method and having Malacia perform well from his left back is all the Dutch man needs.
In a recent interview, Shaw appears to have sent words to Erik ten Hag who he believes is seeing his gradual pick of form.
“I think Ten Hag, the boss, he knows my qualities, he knows what I’m capable of and we’ve had chats,” Luke Shaw said.
“It’s understandable that, and I even agree, the start of the season wasn’t good enough and he had to make changes and I fully accept that, I accepted it.
