Former Man United defender, Vidic has hailed Maguire’s talents after seeing the English man’s impact
Man United ex defender, Nemanja Vidic has applauded the club’s current captain, Harry Maguire as he compares certain similarities.
Although Vidic marked out some slacks in the defender but revealed he is good enough just to be the needed man in United’s defense line.
Maguire isn’t just influencing results in his club games alone but also so far has been a positive addition to Gareth Southgate’s England squad after coming off his injury spell.
Speaking on the 28-year-old, Vidic said; “When I look at Maguire I see a defender who is good at everything, 8/10 at everything.

“He’s not as good on the ball or as fast as Rio was for example, and he doesn’t tackle or head like I did, but he has quality across his game.
“He’s fast enough, he’s strong enough, he can jump and play the ball, his positioning is fine.”
Maguire sets to start at the back for England as the side welcome Denmark to Wembley tonight for the semis of the ongoing Euro2020.
