Man United Transfer Scouts Return Unexpected Response After Brazil Trip

The Red Devils have been handed an unexpected response from scouts who went on a transfer target hunt

Manchester United have seen their transfer scouts return from assignment with a response they least expected to hear.

The scouts who were sent to watch the progress of a young player, Joao Gomes returned with a report contrary to what was expected of them.

Gomes is a 21-year-old midfielder who features for Brazilian team, Flamengo and has had an impressive run with the Serie A side.

United having sent their scouts to Brazil to watch Gomes have him on their want list and only want assurances before opening a bid for his signature.

But returning from the assignment were different report from Man United scout team stating that Man United should rather focus on Andreas Pereira.

Pereira is as well on loan to Flamengo after failing to gain playing time at Man United.

With Erik ten Hag‘s arrival, it’s now likely following the scouts report, United will open up a change for the 26-year-old.
According to the scouts, Andreas Pereira has been the most notable performer in the Flamengo team.
