Bobby Charlton has joined the afterlife following the tragic news of his demise today Saturday, 21st October, 2023

Manchester United are to visit the Bramall lane this evening, in a match they would go into in a mournful state, following the demise of club legend Bobby Charlton.

Bobby was an Academy graduate of United, who spent 17 years with the club, he was loved for his integrity and sportsmanship within United Kingdom and beyond.

During his time at club, Charlton featured in 758 games for the club, scoring 249 goals, helping Manchester United lift her first European Cup in 1968 with a brace in the finals.

Bobby’s spell at United saw the club become English champions three times with an FA cup title to the clubs cabinet.

Bobby was crucial for the Three Lions of England, making a total of 106 appearances with 49 goals, he was part of the English World Cup winning team of 1966.

On retirement, Sir Bobby Charlton took on the job of a director in the club for 39 years, due to achievements made by Bobby, a stand in the Old Trafford is named after him, Sir Bobby Charlton Stand.

Bobby is survived by wife, Lady Norma, his daughters, grand children, and fans across the globe.
