French side, Olympique Marseille prepare to beat Arsenal to the signing of two Barcelona players as they look to build a ‘dream team’.
After completing the signing of Matteo Guendouzi on loan and in advanced negotiations to sign William Saliba also on loan, Marseille mean serious business as they prepare fresh bids for Barca duo.
According to reports, Olympique Marseille are exploring the possibilities of adding Samuel Umtiti and Philippe Coutinho to their squad in a potential transfer blow to Arsenal.
However, Marseille have now dented Arsenal hopes of making any deal as they have already made their intentions known to Barcelona.
Barcelona are in financial crisis and are looking to offload a number of players to reduce their wage bills to and will agree to sell to Marseille.
The French club also have the opportunity of making any loan transfers permanent after next season.
