Mason Mount Sends Message To Liverpool After Chelsea FA Cup Final Qualification

The Blues have once again qualified for the FA Cup final for the third consecutive times following victory against Crystal Palace

Chelsea produced a stunning 2-0 victory against the Eagles with Loftus-Cheek converting an assist from Kai Havertz and then Mason Mount sealing the lead with the finishing goal.

Being the only trophy Chelsea are left to fight for, the West Londonders are sure giving it their best as they are now left with one more game to seal the hustle.

They will battle Liverpool once again for another final this season after losing the Carabao Cup to the Reds earlier on.

Not just for Mason Mount alone, but to every Chelsea player it’s more of a revenge seeking match as it’s the only way to make up for losing the Carabao Cup to Jurgen Klopp and his men.

Speaking after the game, Mason Mount shared that the only way to get off the Carabao Cup loss is coming home with the FA Cup.

“It’s definitely the time for us to win a final at Wembley,” Mount said. “For me, it’s five finals I lost. Let’s put pressure on ourselves. We lost the last one at Wembley, it’s time to get our payback.”

In addition, the English man hailed Timo Werner for the sudden superb turnaround in his struggling form; “He (Werner) got me a little assist, he could have had another one and a couple of goals. He’s brilliant. He’s done so well in the last couple of games.

“He had a chance and missed, me and Jorgi had a laugh on the bench because he ran all the way back to the half-way line to win the ball.”

Chelsea will turn to the Premier League where they look to finish in the third position after falling off the title race.
