Neymar is yet to learn of the club’s stance on his future despite kick-starting pre-season tour with the squad
PSG winger, Neymar has shared his lack of knowledge on what the club actually wants to do with him.
The Brazilian has been a major exit topic since the renewal of Kylian Mbappe’s contract.
With links already connecting him to Chelsea and Manchester City, Neymar is yet to decide on any exit move.
Following the club to a pre-season tour, Neymar made a substitute appearance today as PSG produced a 3-0 win against Urawa Reds.
Neymar after the game shared his thoughts on both his future and also how he views the Japanese style of football.
Speaking after the game Neymar said of his fitness; “I feel good, fit. I trained at home during the holidays.
“Of course, we still have to train more to improve as a team and we will do that. But the truth is that everything is going well and I feel good.
“I think it’s still a bit early to talk about that. We need to give ourselves a little more time to get to know each other better,” Neymar continued when asked about the new coach.
Asked about his future, Neymar said; “Me?, I want to stay at the club. So far, the club hasn’t told me anything. I’m still under contract for a few years. Paris really didn’t tell me anything like that.”
“I had the opportunity to play against the Japanese national team. They have quality and they play with intensity. They have a lot of movement and they continue to improve,” Neymar added as he spoke of the Japanese games.
Asked about criticisms, Neymar continued; “I have nothing to prove to anyone. People know me, know who I am, how I behave on the pitch, what my game is.
“I don’t need to prove myself. I just need to play my football to be happy. People talk too much. And they talk too much because they can’t do anything else.”
