Chelsea set-piece coach has officially left the club as he pens contract with arch-rivals, Manchester United

The former head of coaching in Shrewsbury Town will work one-on-one with individual players and also take charge of the set pieces trainings after completing his transfer from Chelsea Football Club.

Eric Ramsey joined Chelsea’s under-23 side back in 2019 after he left his job as assistant to the senior team manager at Shrewsbury Town.

Following Eric Ramsey’s guide, Blues were able to concede no goal from set-pieces in the just-concluded season and Ole has expressed excitement on his transfer.

“We’ve been fortunate enough to convince Eric Ramsay to come and join the best club in the world and in the country.

“We’re excited. He’s young, fresh and with new ideas, an innovative coach we know from before. Kieran [McKenna] knows him really well from Loughborough, so we’re very pleased with that.”
