The former Arsenal player is has made a bold claims disclosing the Chelsea star who served a major stumbling block Eagles faced today
Crystal Palace failed to materialize not even a draw today as Chelsea danced into the FA Cup Final.
Reuben Loftus-Cheek and Mason Mount were both on the score board with none of the opposing players claiming a spot.
The Selhurst based club saw the end of their journey in the trophy race cut short by Thomas Tuchel’s boys but to him Reece James appeared to be the major issue his players faced.
Commenting on the English defender, Vieira said; “We had some issues on the right side where Reece James got the ball too much and our front two were working so hard.
“We wanted to be a little bit more supportive in midfield but we dropped a bit too much.

“We wanted to match their front five and not give them the chance to run between the back four. At Selhurst we suffered a lot with the overload on the side.”
Vieira continued,”We had a couple of chances but we didn’t find our front two quick enough so they closed the gap. I’m proud of the team. The first half was brilliant but we couldn’t score.
“I don’t think it’s bad luck. We tried to play our best but Chelsea were good, too good on the day.
“We tried to frustrate them and we did in the first half. We tried our best and it was;t enough.”
Tyrick Mitchell drew the attention to himself with his anger issues but Vieira believes playing more games of this kind will help him tune his behavior.
“He’ll be OK. These games will build him. How to manage his emotion. The more games he plays like that then the better it will be.”
Crystal Palace will turn to a fight for the top 10 which they sit 3 points behind on the 13th position with a decisive match against Newcastle set to hold on 20th.
Chelsea will continue their race for a third place finish after crashing out of the Champions League this week.
