According to reports, Real Madrid are willing to listen to offers for Martin Odegaard but they will not sell him for less than €60m.
The 22-year-old arrived from Madrid during the January window to the Emirates stadium and have quickly adapted to life at the North London Club.
Martin possess leadership qualities and has been impressive for the Gunners for the remainder of the season.
The Gunners boss have been full of praise for the Norwegian and have earlier given his verdict on if the attacking Midfielder will stay.
“We have a very clear and strong opinion on what we would like to do,” Arteta said.
“He’s not our player. We will have discussions in the next few weeks but respect first of all that he is a Real Madrid player.
“We’ve tried to do everything we could to get Martin performing for the team, which I think he has done.
“He has adapted really well to our way of playing and to our football club and hopefully we have given him the feeling that it could be a good place for him.”
Real know that Odegaard is going to be a great player, but the current economic circumstances added to the attitude shown by the player in January displeased not only Zidane but the entire management leadership.
Should the Gunners make the move for €60M?
