Ferdinand believes Man United is set to continue their bad run if they don’t land players in important positions he finds leaking
Man United scored late in the second half to secure victory against Fulham at Craven Cottage on Saturday night but still performed poor.
According to Rio Ferdinand, he don’t see this changing any time soon if the Red Devils don’t do what he tags as ‘necessary’ to fix the problems.
The club have already spent lots of money in the transfer market but Rio believes they have to spend more if they wish to fix their problems.
Speaking after the game, Ferdinand said; “This squad isn’t complete, when you watch them, you will know there are spots that must be filled if we want to play good.
“The game against Fulham was just like that of Galatasaray and I think the only difference is that Galatasaray knows how to attack better that Fulham while Fulham knows how to defend better than Gala.

“Man United suffered same issues, I don’t see any improvement yet, I think we need to feel relevant roles with more active players.
“We can see the right-wing isn’t very functional, we need to bring competition to that role, there are many players in the market who will be willing to come to Man United, I don’t know but you can look at players like Chiesa or even Ferran Torres.
“They will be more functional in that area and we have to move fast if we must do something, time isn’t our friend anymore. This is EPL. We have to act quickly if not we will finish this season worse than last season.”
