The left back was brilliant with his performance despite England losing the final to Italy

England did put out a really good fight against Italy on Sunday night but unfortunately lost out on penalty kicks with Marcus Rashford, Bukayo Saka and Jadon Sancho all missing.

A notable player from the night was Luke Shaw who also did hand England an edge just two minutes into the game.

The former Southampton youth provided the first goal of the game as he brilliantly finished off a cross from Kieran Trippier to out England early ahead of the visitors.

With the Euro concluded, Shaw’s former side, Southampton applauded the player on their twitter page as his goal also became the fastest in Euro history.

The 26-year-old spent 3 years with the Saints senior team after being promoted from the youth team in 2011 and then joined Man United in 2014, making a total of 128 league appearances for the Red Devils since his arrival.
