Thomas Tuchel Gives Worrisome Injury Report Ahead Of UCL Match Against Galatasaray

Tuchel appears to be having a lot of injury problems to deal with as he announces the absence of several top names ahead of their UCL match against Galatasaray

Bayern Munich are currently top of the Group A table but maintaining their lead may come out difficult as their Boss, Thomas Tuchel provided an injury report that is indeed worrisome.

The Bavarians have won all of their matches (2) so far in the current UCL campaign, hence their lead at the top of the Group A table following victories against Manchester United and Copenhagen.

Tuchel is well aware that a victory against the Turks will have them already stepping one foot into the round of 16 as they would now look to the second legs to avoid a loss and then scale through into the next round.

Ahead of the game against Galatasaray on Tuesday, Tuchel who saw his side produce a resounding 1-3 victory against Mainz on Saturday shared his worry as Upamecano and Gnabry among other names set to miss out the match.

Thomas Tuchel revealed Dayot Upamecano, Serge Gnabry and Raphaël Guerreiro are definitely out against Galatasaray on Tuesday. While Noussair Mazraoui, is a very tight one as he’s likely to miss the game but there’s still exists small hope that he could be fully fit before Tuesday night.

On the other hand, Galatasaray striker, Mauro Icardi is likely to miss Tuesday’s game against Bayern following an ankle injury he sustained against Beşiktaş yesterday

Following their victory against Mainz yesterday, Leroy Sane who was subbed off made a bad gesture while leaving the pitch and Tuchel has had his say on the incident saying; “He’s never satisfied with being taken off. But he was not angry, he just always wants to play until the end.

“He always wants to score and assist – and I really don’t like taking him off. We chose Mathys Tel and Choupo and we wanted height and physicality in set pieces because we knew Mainz were dangerous there.”
